Cristina Denegri

I described my work as emotional expressionism as a combination of feelings, ideas and emotions coming from moments I lived, visions and perception of what I see and feel around me, I think no aspect of our mental life is more important to the quality and meaning of our existence than emotions, they are what make life worth living, or sometimes ending, so my work seeks to represent that using my own emotions and those that I capture from others. I use vibrant oil colors and texture to enrich the artwork, I use feminine figures, geometrical shapes, doors and windows and lately I am incorporating computers and technology to my artwork I’am doing this to show how humans has been affected in different ways because of technology, it has changes our lives and now challenging our expectations has invaded the world and is all around us sometimes leading life’s conducts and transforming everything, this is happening I think because as humans we have the necessity to stay connected to communicate our feelings in different ways and trespassing frontiers and sometimes loosing identity.
